Privacy Policy

Account Information

• Email address and name (provided during registration or Google sign-in)
• Password (stored in encrypted form, email registration only)
• Profile photo (from Google account or uploaded by you)

Dog Health Data

• Dog profile: name, breed, gender, date of birth
• Weight records: weight value, date, notes, photos
• Daily logs: meal amounts, walk time, water intake, energy and health indicators, event tags
• Target weight and weight management phase

Subscription & Payment Data

• Subscription status, plan type, expiry date
• Apple App Store transaction ID (for iOS subscription verification)
• Stripe customer ID (for web subscription management)
• We do not store full credit card numbers or payment method details

Other Data

• AI analysis reports: health insights generated from your records
• Family sharing: invited member emails and roles
• Photos: dog profile pictures and weight progress photos
• Referral link click data: referral code, anonymized browsing info (IP hash, not raw IP)

• Provide core features: weight tracking, daily logging, progress analysis
• Sync your records across devices
• Generate AI health insights and suggestions
• Process subscriptions and payments
• Support family member sharing and management
• Track referral program for reward distribution
• Improve product experience and features

We use the following third-party services to process certain data:

• Cloudflare — cloud infrastructure for database, file storage, and serverless computing
• Google OAuth — third-party sign-in authentication (only when you choose Google sign-in)
• Apple App Store — iOS in-app subscription processing and verification
• Stripe — web subscription payment processing (we never handle your card details)

We do not use third-party analytics or advertising tracking services.

• All data transmission is encrypted with HTTPS
• Passwords are stored using bcrypt hashing
• Authentication tokens have automatic expiry
• iOS local data is stored in on-device Core Data
• Cloud data is hosted on Cloudflare global infrastructure
• Photos are stored in Cloudflare R2 object storage

• Account data and health records: retained until you delete your account
• Login tokens: automatically expire after 30 days
• Family invitations: automatically expire after 14 days
• Referral attribution records: automatically expire after 14 days

Data Export

You can export all your personal data from Settings, including dog profiles, weight records, daily logs, and AI reports, in JSON or CSV format.

Account Deletion

You can permanently delete your account from Settings. Upon deletion, all personal data, dog records, photos, and AI reports will be removed. Please cancel any active subscriptions first.

Data Correction

You can edit your profile, dog information, and health records at any time within the app.

TailTrim does not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal data to us, please contact us for removal.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or email.
