Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are effective as of February 2026 and apply to all services provided by TailTrim, including the iOS app, web application, and related features.

By using TailTrim, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to any part of these Terms, please stop using our services.

TailTrim is a weight management app designed for senior dogs, providing the following tools and features:

• Weight tracking and trend analysis
• Daily health logging (meals, walks, energy indicators)
• AI health insights and suggestions
• Multi-dog management and family sharing
• Data export (CSV / PDF)

TailTrim is available on iOS (via the App Store) and on the web (tailtrim.app).

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use TailTrim. If you are under 18, you must have the consent of a parent or guardian.

You can create a TailTrim account using an email address and password, or by signing in with your Google account.

• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure, including your password and account access.
• Each person may only create one account.
• Registration information you provide must be accurate and complete.
• If you notice any unauthorized use of your account, please contact us immediately.

Free Plan

• Up to 1 dog profile
• Basic features: weight logging, daily tracking, trend charts
• No time limit

Premium Plan

• US$2.99/month (approx. HK$23)
• 7-day free trial for first-time subscribers
• Auto-renews after the trial period unless you cancel in advance
• Includes all Premium features: AI analysis, unlimited dogs, family sharing, data export, and more

Cancellation

• iOS subscriptions: cancel through App Store settings.
• Web subscriptions: cancel through the Stripe billing portal.
• After cancellation, you can continue using Premium features until the end of the current billing period.

Refunds

Refunds are handled according to Apple App Store or Stripe refund policies. TailTrim does not process refund requests directly.

Price Changes

If prices change, we will notify you at least 30 days in advance via the app or email. Price changes take effect at the start of the next billing period.

When using TailTrim, you agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of TailTrim
• Misuse, tamper with, or access other users' data without authorization
• Use automated tools (crawlers, bots, etc.) to access the service in bulk
• Impersonate another person or create a false identity
• Use the service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Upload files containing malware, viruses, or harmful content
• Interfere with or disrupt the normal operation of the service

• The TailTrim brand, design, code, text, and other service content are the intellectual property of TailTrim.
• You retain ownership of all data and photos you upload.
• You grant TailTrim a limited license to process your data in order to provide the service (e.g., displaying records, generating analysis reports, syncing data).
• This license is limited to what is necessary for service operation and will not be used for other commercial purposes.

• Photos and health data you upload belong to you.
• TailTrim may use anonymized and aggregated data to improve service quality (e.g., analyzing overall usage trends). This data will not contain any personally identifiable information.
• You are responsible for the content you upload and warrant that you have the legal right to upload it.
• We reserve the right to remove content that violates these Terms.

All content and suggestions provided by TailTrim are for health management reference only and do not constitute veterinary medical advice:

• TailTrim does not provide veterinary diagnosis or treatment advice.
• AI-generated health analysis and suggestions are informational only and cannot replace professional veterinary advice.
• If you have any health concerns about your dog, always consult a qualified veterinarian.
• TailTrim is not liable for any health decisions made based on data from the app.

• TailTrim provides the service "as-is" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
• To the maximum extent permitted by law, TailTrim shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
• TailTrim's maximum liability shall not exceed the total fees you have paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.
• We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, but we will make reasonable efforts to maintain service stability.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless TailTrim and its team from any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorney fees) arising from:

• Your misuse of the service
• Your violation of these Terms
• Content you upload that infringes on third-party rights

• TailTrim may modify, update, or suspend certain features from time to time to improve the service experience.
• For significant feature changes, we will provide you with reasonable advance notice.
• TailTrim reserves the right to discontinue the service when necessary and will notify affected users in advance.
• TailTrim shall not be liable for modifications to or discontinuation of service features.

Termination by TailTrim

• If you violate these Terms, TailTrim may suspend or terminate your account.
• Serious violations may result in immediate termination without prior notice.

Termination by User

• You can delete your account at any time from the Settings page.
• Upon account deletion, all personal data, dog records, photos, and AI reports will be permanently removed.
• If you have an active subscription, please cancel it before deleting your account to avoid continued charges.

• We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect service changes or legal requirements.
• Material changes will be notified at least 30 days in advance via the app or email.
• Continued use of the service after notification constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
• If you do not agree with the updated Terms, you may stop using the service and delete your account at any time.

• These Terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.
• Any dispute shall first be resolved through good-faith negotiation.
• If negotiation fails, disputes shall be submitted to the jurisdiction of Hong Kong courts.
